Ecom Ireland were nominated in the category of "Web Design Development Agency of the Year" for the 2005 Golden Spiders Awards.

In addition, our clients The State Exminaitons Commission, Irish Mortgage Corporation and the Irish Cancer Society were also nominated in the categories of "Best Public Sector Website", "Best Financial Website", and "Best Healthcare Website" respectively.

Irish Cancer Society won a Golden Spider award in their category.

The State Examinations Commission is responsible for the development, assessment, accreditation and certification of the second-level examinations of the Irish state: the Junior Certificate and the Leaving Certificate. The State Examinations Commission is a non-departmental public body under the aegis of the Department of Education and Science.

Ecom Ireland has been involved since 2001 with the SEC in developing their education portal with numerous back-end systems. In February 2005, State Examinations Commission were nominated for 2 eGovernment Awards, "Best Educational Website" and "Best overall Government Website".

Rahul Rana, founder of Ecom Ireland, was a finalist in Shell Live Wire Entreperneur of the Year Award in 2001.
